Handmade Cards for Sale

Yay! I've got my cards uploaded. All proceeds go directly to our Send Nyles To Worlds Fund. These simple greeting cards all open up to blank notecards inside, and come with envelopes.

There are 19 Ireland Photocards, made on embossed cardstock with photos taken in Killarney, Ireland 2007. You can find the rest if the images, here on flicker.
I have one each of these, however I can replicate any design if you'd like a matching set. These will be $4.00 each with $1.00 shipping to Canada and US for up to three together. If you'd like more than three, or to ship elsewhere, I will let you know what shipping will cost. Please email me at churchrulesATshaw.ca (replace AT with @) to order and I will send you a PayPal invoice.

Introducing Nyles and his quest to go to the World Irish Dance Championships 2012

Nyles has been dancing since he was four-years-old. Ten years later, he is still a very dedicated dancer, dedicating four days a week to classes at Reaney Academy and often sacrificing his social time with friends to be the best dancer that he can be. He has placed first in his age group in the Eastern Canada Championships for the past 5 years running, qualifying him for Worlds in Belfast from April 1-8, 2012. Nyles has also qualified for Worlds at the North American Championships three times, a much larger, even more prestigious competition.

I started this blog in an effort to raise funds to send him to Belfast this April because he has worked so hard, but this has been a difficult year for our family. I was diagnosed with chondrosarcoma in April 2011, after doctors found a bone cancer tumor in the base of my skull. I have had surgery and 7 weeks of intensive radiation therapy, meaning I haven't worked in the last 6 months. Our financial situation just isn't there for us to send Nyles to Belfast to compete in the World Championships 2012. This is why we are launching this blog, to centralize our efforts to raise funds for this young dancer to follow his dreams and dance on the World stage.

Here we hope to sell items I have crafted and others have donated, and link you up to other's efforts to sell and raise funds to send Nyles to Ireland.
